AIS’22 | AFRINIC-35 AGMM
It was a successful meeting. After almost two weeks of training, conferences, roundtables, plenaries … and many interactive sessions, the curtain finally came down on Africa Internet Summit 2022.
Attended by 217 people onsite and online from 47 countries, the meeting in Mauritius was the first-ever meeting we held in a hybrid format. It was the 10th edition of an AIS Meeting, held for the first time in Mauritius.
AIS’22 and AFRINIC-35 were concluded with the AFRINIC AGMM 2022. There were activity updates from the CEO, Board Chair and financial updates from the Chair of the Audit Committee.
There was also an election of the Governance Committee, which saw the election of Maud Adjeley Ashong Elliot.
AFRINIC’s Finances and Governance questions were also addressed during the AGMM 2022.
The Audited Financial Statements were not approved by the AFRINIC membership during this AGMM. AFRINIC membership was requested to vote to approve the audited financial Statement.
